इतिहास एवं उत्पत्ति

देवता: Lord Dhanvantari, Goddess Mahalakshmi, Lord Kubera, Lord Yama

During the great churning of the cosmic milky ocean (Samudra Manthan), Lord Dhanvantari manifested on this Trayodashi holding the sacred pot of Amrita (immortality nectar) in one hand and Ayurvedic scriptures in the other. Another sacred narrative recounts how a young queen saved her sixteen-year-old husband from Yama by piling dazzling gold coins and lamps at the doorway, blinding and deterring the serpent of death with brilliance.

True wealth (Dhan) encompasses holistic wellness (Arogya) as its foundation, followed by righteous material prosperity.
