01
Theological significance
When Lord Vishnu cut Goddess Sati's body with his Sudarshana Chakra, her tongue fell at this spot in the Shivalik range. Ancient Puranas describe this site as a self-manifested Shaktipeeth where the Divine Mother is worshiped in the form of natural blue flames burning continuously out of mountain rock fissures without any physical fuel.
Approach this peeth with quiet breath and an open heart. Darshan is not only seeing— it is allowing the Mother to see you.
