Vishnu Puja Samagri
- Picture or Idol of Lord Vishnu / Lord Krishna
- Yellow Sandalwood paste (Pila Chandan) & Yellow Flowers
- Chana Dal (Bengal gram) & Jaggery (Gud)
- Tulsi leaves (Holy Basil)
- Ghee Lamp & Yellow sweets (Halwa/Besan Laddoo)
Step-by-step procedure
Step 1
Lamp & Yellow Tilak
Shastri Ji says: Wear yellow clothes if possible. Light a Ghee lamp and apply Yellow Sandalwood paste on Lord Vishnu's forehead and your own forehead.

Step 2
Chana Dal, Jaggery & Tulsi Offering
Offer yellow flowers along with soaked Chana Dal and Jaggery. Place Tulsi leaves over the Bhog (Lord Vishnu never accepts Bhog without Tulsi).
शांताकारं भुजगशयनं पद्मनाभं सुरेशम् ।विश्वाधारं गगनसदृशं मेघवर्णं शुभाङ्गम् ॥
Step 3
Vishnu Aarti & Prayer
Perform 'Om Jai Jagdish Hare' Aarti with devotion and seek blessings for knowledge and peace.
