Introduction

Lord Shani (Saturn), the son of Surya (Sun God) and Chhaya (Shadow), holds the cosmic role of 'Karma Phala Data'—the dispenser of the fruits of actions.

Far from being a malicious deity, Shani represents impartial justice. He enforces time, limitations, patience, and hardship to strip away human ego, arrogance, and illusion.
