Simple meaning

Please forgive whatever mistakes I have made today—through my hands, feet, speech, body, eyes, ears, or thoughts—whether done knowingly or unknowingly. Glory to You, O ocean of compassion and benevolence.

For kids

Recited before falling asleep. It helps kids acknowledge their daily mistakes (like losing temper or speaking rudely), forgive themselves and others, and start tomorrow with a fresh slate.

Big idea

Self-forgiveness, emotional regulation, and non-judgmental reflection.
